Williem Van Oranje, New Wayang Figure

A renowned Wayang maker, Ki Ledjar Soebroto, who has created various Wayang figures since many years ago, introduced a new kind of Wayang figure named Willem van Oranje. Inspired from the prince Williem of netherland, Williem van Oranje will be staged in the opening of Prinsenhof museum and the Nusantara museum positioned in the Netherlands.

Prince Williem is known as the founding father of the Netherlands. Because of his service to the nation, his previous resident had been renovated and given name as Prisenhof museum. To have the chance to stage the story of prince Williem, Ki Ledjar Soebroto was proud to present prince Williem in the shape of Wayang. the prince Williem Wayang figure will be displayed on art exhibition at the complex of Prinsenhof museum. Before departing to the Netherlands, Ki Ledjar Soebroto introduced his new kind Wayang figure to public on Tuesday morning.

Williem van Oranje Wayang figure is a masterpiece of Ki Ledjar Soebroto which exclusively ordered by Nusantara museum. Ki Ledjar Soebroto designed Wayang figure based on the netherlands history and its appearance sketch figures on Williem’s great story hundreds years ago. Those pictures is well managed and stored in Prinsenhof museum. Aside from brilliantly designing sketch of famed figures, Ki Ledjar had its chance to design historical relics positioned in the city of delft, like the church where prince Williem and other the netherlands kings were buried. Wayang figure of Williem van Oranje tells prince Williem’s story while he was alive and becomes a means of education to teach children to understand the history of the Netherlands in the past. Aside from performing prince Williem in the format of Wayang show, the story of the netherlands prince will be projected on the animation movie screening, created by Ke Ledjar Soebroto’s grandson, Ananto Wicaksono.

Jjls Construction Project Resumed

Southern route road construction project, jjls, in Gunungkidul regency, is being worked onon. At this stage, jjls construction has reached Planjan village, Sabtosari, Gunungkidul.

The stages of jjls construction is being undertaken gradually. For this month, the progress in Gunungkidul regency has only reached thirty percent from the total eighty kilometer long road segment, with three main points in drini beach, krakal, and gesing. Inauguration of Bobung Tourism Building

Within the framework of sustainable economy development, to improve the quality of life and environment especially in Gunungkidul regency area, Pt Persero Angkasa Pura Satu, in friday morning, inaugurated the construction of Bobung tourism hamlet meeting hall in Putat village, Patuk subdistrict, Gunungkidul. The meeting hall that is named, Joglo Pura Tama Wisata, was inaugurated symbolically by the regent of Gunungkidul, badingah.

Since 1992, Pt Persero Angkasa Pura Satu, has been actively implementing partnership and environmental development program. One of them is the construction of Joglo Pura Tama Wisata meeting hall, in Bobung tourism hamlet, Putat village, Patuk subdistrict, Gunungkidul. Currently, the construction of the meeting hall that had expended two hundred sixty million rupiahs of funds, is completed, and has been symbolically inaugurated in friday morning. The inauguration was marked with a signing of plaque, by the director of finance of pt Persero Angkasa Pura Satu, Gunawan Agus Subrata, and was continued with the cutting of the ribbon by Gunungkidul regent, Badingah.

Being met in the sidelines of the inauguration, general manager temp official of pt Angkasa Pura Satu, Herdyanto, said that, through its construction, the meeting hall can be optimally utilized for various events, to support the improvement of the mask crafters through training, or as a haven for tourists visiting Bobung tourism village.
