On the occasion of Kartini day commemoration, residents of Potorono village, Banguntapan, Bantul, held a cultural parade around the village, while Parading Tumpeng and Gunungan. This moment was also held as a part of the anniversary of local youth organization.
Residents of Potorono hamlet, Potorono village, Banguntapan subdistrict, Bantul, in saturday evening, commemorated Kartini day by performing a cultural parade around the Neighbourhood, by parading Tumpeng and crops as a Gunungan. The event was also made into the celebration of the anniversary of local youth organization, called Raspuro, short of Rukun Agawe Santoso Putro Potorono. During the parade. participants were singing “Ibu Kita Kartini”.
Not only parading Tumpeng and Gunungan. In the event, youths of Raspuro also distributed flowers to women, who were watching by the roadside. The cultural parade is routinely held every year, to remember the deeds of women, who had given birth to gender equality.
After the parade, the Gunungan, which consisted of crops of fruits and vegetables, was given out to the residents.
