After Merapi eruption, Plunyon tourism object area in Umbulharjo Subdistrict, Cangkringan, Sleman, does not change much until today. What that can be seen, is the activities of the locals. Around the area, the only view is the deforested land, and fallen trees because of Merapi hot cloud some time ago. The tourism area is still looking quiet, which is contrasting with other areas in Merapi slopes.
After Merapi eruption some time ago, Merapi slope area in Sleman is crowded by visitors almost daily. The visitors are overabundant, especially in holidays. However, this is not the case for Plunyon tourism object area, which is also situated in Merapi slope. In Sunday morning, the tourism object looked bare of visitors, only the activities of the locals. In Plunyon, currently there are only deforested land and fallen tree trunks because of Merapi hot cloud.
Plunyon tourism object area is situated around the yellow river upper in Umbulharjo Subdistrict, Cangkringan, Sleman. The area used to be green with various trees and used for natural tourism. Presently, the condition of the area is like a dead tourism object.
