In order to improve musical creativity, as well as independence of children since early age, Yogyakarta music community, in these two days, are holding marching band contest in the auditorium of SMK 2 Kasihan Bantul Yogyakarta. In the event that is participated by fifty eight contestants from kindergarden and elementary schools from Jogjakarta and central java, the cup of governor of Jogjakarta is being contested.
Child is the successor generation of the nation, who will receive the leadership baton of their predecessors. It is expected that this competition can improve child creativity in music, as well as encouraging new talent.
